CCNR Spokesman Blasts S. Korean Defense Minister's Anti-DPRK Rubbish

Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- Song Yong Mu, defense minister of south Korea, recently talked such rubbish as "collapse of the north", not content with his reckless tongue-lashing at a meeting for "parliamentary inspection for administration" though he is stricken with the fear of imminent war. This clearly shows that Song is just a die-hard confrontation maniac seized with inveterate hostility toward the compatriots in the north and the wild dream for "unification by absorption", says a spokesman for the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation in a statement Friday. Terming his tongue-lashing an unpardonable insult to the dignity and system of the DPRK, the statement goes on: Song spouted very dangerous provocative remarks at a time when the north-south relations have reached the worst catastrophe and a touch-and-go situation is prevailing on the Korean peninsula. This should never be overlooked. He has fully betrayed his colors as a pro-U.S. traitor seeking to prolong his remaining days with the backing of the U.S. in utter disregard of the deadlocked north-south ties, this land embroiled in a horrible war disaster and the destiny of the nation in peril. We have already warned that those who challenge the dignity and system of the DPRK are bound to face a merciless punishment. Song will soon get to know clearly how dearly he should pay for his reckless tongue-lashing. The present chief executive of south Korea can never evade his responsibility for designating such a confrontation maniac as defense minister and patronizing him. The regime of south Korea should never forget that all Koreans are watching its behavior. |
