U.S.-S. Korea "Joint Statement" Denounced

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea reportedly made public a commentary on Oct. 29 to disclose the injustice of the anti-DPRK confrontation confab between the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet authorities.

The "joint statement" of the south Korean and U.S. military authorities at the 49th annual security consultative meeting contains steps aggravating confrontation, the commentary noted.

It charged that such steps are aimed to aggravate the war crisis on the Korean peninsula and mount a preemptive attack on the north.

Refuting the "joint statement", the commentary urged the south Korean regime and the U.S. to come out for conclusion of a peace accord with the DPRK.
