At the talks, he referred to the fact that the DPRK army and people unanimously turned out in a drive to carry out the tasks set forth by the Second Plenary Meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the WPK under the energetic leadership of the chairman of the WPK.

He clarified the principled stand of the WPK to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations with foreign parties in the common struggle for opposing imperialism and defending socialism.

Gennadi Zyuganov, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, expressed his deep thanks for the WPK delegation's participation in the 19th international meeting of communist and workers' parties and the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the October Socialist Revolution.

He stressed that he would make positive efforts to further develop the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and extend full support and solidarity to the WPK in its struggle for building a socialist power and ensuring peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, said that the Workers' Party, the army and the people of Korea have won only victory while facing down the imperialists' military threats and heinous sanctions to isolate and stifle the DPRK under the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, thus greatly encouraging the progressive political parties and peoples of the world.

He noted that his party would as ever extend firm support and solidarity to the Workers' Party and people of Korea in their cause of justice and invariably strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations with the WPK.

Meanwhile, Kim Su Gil met with the general secretary of the Communist Party of the People of Spain, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czech and Moravia of the Czech Republic, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the international secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and others.
