The lesson the Korean people drew from the complicated international situation is that the destiny of a country and nation entirely depends on whether it is led by an outstanding leader or not and that it would be impossible to defend the security and sovereignty of a nation without tremendous military capability.

Without his distinguished leadership and the socialist system, our country would have been a bargaining chip of big powers and fallen a victim to the invasion by the barbarous U.S. imperialists in the present serious and complicated situation as it is situated in the geopolitically important position.

If the U.S. imperialists try to test the DPRK with the same logic of strength as applied to some countries, this will end up accelerating their doom.

The army and people of the DPRK will continue to fully display their indomitable spirit to foil the reckless nuclear war moves and harsh sanctions and pressure of the U.S. and other hostile forces and proudly build a powerful socialist country under the unfurled banner of the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts, single-mindedly united around their Supreme Leader.
