NATO Secretary-General's Remarks under Fire
Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Stoltenberg, secretary-general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), had an interview with the Yomiuri Shimbun of Japan at the headquarters of the NATO in Brussels some days ago. There he made unreasonable remarks that European countries think that they are within the striking range of DPRK's missiles and that Europe has already been gripped in a crisis. And he claimed that the NATO has either capability for counterattack or resolution and it is necessary to put more pressure on the DPRK.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes this in a commentary:

His remarks are false and groundless.

The DPRK's ballistic rockets are for deterring the U.S. nuclear war hysterics and ensuring peace and security on the Korean peninsula and the region. They are not for threatening Europe and the world.

It is not the DPRK alone that has ICBM in the earth. If what Stoltenberg said is true, the countries with ICBM should naturally be a threat to Europe as it is within their range.

Stoltenberg will have no word in this regard.

He was once the prime minister of an European country. Then, how did he make such nonsensical assertion?

Evidently, he speaks for the impure intention of the U.S.

He acts like a mouthpiece of the U.S. He revealed his meanness and baseness by turning black into white. Perhaps he is trying to curry favor with the U.S. to prolong his remaining days but he is mistaken. From a historical point of view liars do not last long.
