Minju Joson Slams U.S. and S. Korean Puppets for Discussing Preemptive Strike at DPRK

Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, U.S. Secretary of Defense Mattis and south Korean puppet Defense Minister Song Yong Mu had the 49th annual security consultative meeting in Seoul at which they revealed their intention to boost the military cooperation and nexus against the DPRK. Earlier, the chairmen of the U.S. and south Korea joint chiefs of staff discussed "proposals for coping with the north's nuclear and missile threat" at the 42nd south Korea-U.S. Military Committee. Commenting on the fact, Minju Joson Wednesday says that the above-said moves are a dangerous war confab aimed to put the adventurous military option for preemptive strike at the DPRK into practice. It clearly suggests that the scenario of the U.S. and puppet warmongers has reached an extremely dangerous phase in their war hysteria to stifle the DPRK with mobilization of every military means and method including nuclear weapons under the pretext of "nuclear and missile threat from the north". What merits a serious attention is that the recent war huddles took place at a time when the situation on the Korean Peninsula is driven into the worst crisis owing to the daily-increasing nuclear strategic assets on the peninsula and in its vicinity, the commentary says, and goes on: The arch criminal escalating the danger of a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula is the U.S. and puppet warmongers blindly following it. They should be awakened from their day dream. If they continue to cling to their dangerous military cooperation and nexus, it will only precipitate their catastrophic ruin. |
