Kim Su Kil Meets Delegations of Various Political Parties

Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- Kim Su Gil, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK who is leading the WPK delegation to the 19th International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties and events for marking the 100th anniversary of the October Socialist Revolution held in Russia, had talks with delegations of the South African Communist Party, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party. Blade Nzimande, general secretary of the C.C., South African Communist Party who is leading its delegation, expressed his party's firm stand to further develop the relations with the WPK, saying that they attach great importance to the bilateral relations of friendship. Sitaram Yechury, general secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of India (Marxist) who is leading its delegation, said that they were deeply impressed to witness the signal successes made by the WPK and the Korean people in the building of a powerful socialist nation. Hilal Hilal, deputy regional secretary of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party who is leading its delegation, affirmed that the friendly relations between Syria and the DPRK, provided by their preceding leaders and being developed under the deep care of President Bashar Al-Assad and Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, would remain unchanged though one generation is replaced with another and situation gets more complicated. They expressed firm support and solidarity with the just struggle of the WPK and the Korean people who are dynamically pushing forward the building of a powerful socialist nation while braving the U.S. heinous military threat, sanctions and pressure. |
