Brazilian Media Slam U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- Media of Brazil carried articles denouncing the U.S hostile policy toward the DPRK under such titles as "Why did the DPRK develop nukes?" on Oct. 16-26.

Disclosing the fact that the Trump administration has persistently worked to inveigle many countries into its scenario to stifle the DPRK, the newspaper Hora do Povo said:

A good understanding of Korean-style socialism makes one clearly know how absurd is mud-slinging of the U.S. and its vassal forces against the DPRK with a history of 5 000 years and culture.

The world knows well that the DPRK developed nuclear weapons to cope with the U.S. constant nuclear threat and blackmail of decades.

The DPRK's nuclear deterrent serves as the only means to prevent a war and ensure peace on the Korean peninsula.

It is the legitimate right of all sovereign states to defend their countries and preserve their nations' sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The U.S. urges other countries to sever their relations with the DPRK. This is an insult to socialist Korea, disregard of the world people and a violation of sovereignty.

Its behavior is no more than a sinister attempt to deny each country's sovereignty, international laws and the UN Charter and put them into dustbin.

The Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics posted an article on its website stating that the reason why the DPRK started its nuclear program is the U.S. constant nuclear threat to it.
