U.S. Urged to Give up Dream of Negotiations for Denuclearization
|
|
Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- Days ago, the deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of State said the U.S. goal was to pressurize "north Korea" to come out for negotiations without precondition. And the special representative for DPRK policy asserted that "negotiations with the north have to be sincere and trustworthy with no strings attached, if there would be any." Meanwhile, war maniac Trump and those of the U.S. military call for putting in place a "military option" and intensifying closely-cooperated pressure diplomacy along with international "siege and blockade" in a bid to lead "the north to change in its attitude". Their call for "denuclearization negotiations without preconditions" is shameless sophism aimed at persuading the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to kneel down before the burglar, Minju Joson Friday says in a commentary. It goes on: The DPRK's access to nuclear weapons is an inevitable result of the U.S. nuclear blackmail and hostile policy. It is neither a temporary countermeasure to cope with the kaleidoscopic situation nor a bargaining chip for any dialogue, but it is the best strategic option to protect the supreme interests of our revolution and security of the nation. The U.S. should give up its foolish daydream that the DPRK would meet its brigandish demands, a dream of denuclearization negotiations with the DPRK in particular. We do not oppose dialogue but will never put the issue related to the supreme interests of the DPRK and security of its people on the bargaining table. We are not interested in such dialogue and negotiations in the least. |
