To Get Rid of DPRK's Nukes Is Just Daydream: Minju Joson

Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- The American Conservative, Washington Post and a former assistant to the U.S. president for national security termed the denuclearization of north Korea unrealistic. They asserted "to recognize north Korea as a nuclear weapons state is the only reasonable way to stabilize the situation and prevent a strategic mistake." Minju Joson Tuesday comments this scathing criticism of the ill-advised "crazy strategy" of the Trump administration which scuttled the settlement of the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula by persisting in extreme hostility toward the DPRK. In order to protect the supreme interests of the country and security of its people from the escalating moves of the U.S. to isolate and stifle the DPRK, the Workers' Party of Korea set it as a strategic line of the country to simultaneously develop the two fronts and has stepped up the economic construction and the building of the nuclear force, the paper says, and goes on: The present U.S. administration should have worked hard to find a solution to the matter in a right direction after drawing a due lesson from the failed DPRK policies of its predecessors. However, the Trump administration has stirred up its confrontation with the DPRK without any proper calculation, bluffing as if they could "denuclearize the Korean peninsula." It is as clear as noonday that the Trump administration will fall into a more awkward position due to its persistent hostile policy toward the DPRK. As claimed by all, it is just as foolish as wanting to get a chicken from a boiled egg to expect the dismantlement of the DPRK's nukes at present. |
