Stop to North-targeted Joint Military Exercises Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- The South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration in a commentary on Nov. 15 demanded that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces stop large-scale war exercises Key Resolve, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News.

The "government" describes the Key Resolve as an "annual and defensive drill" but it is widely known as the one aimed at a preemptive attack on the north, the commentary said.

It urged the authorities to stop the war exercises which will increase military tension and the U.S. to halt all military actions.
