Reception for Special Envoy of Xi Jinping

Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Saturday hosted a reception in honor of the special envoy of the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and his party on a visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Present there on invitation were Song Tao, head of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., CPC, who is the special envoy of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the C.C., CPC, and his party, Ri Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of the Chinese embassy here.

Attending it were Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, Ri Chang Gun, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, and officials concerned.

Speeches were made there.
