Alexandr Gromov, first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Party, was elected chairman of the committee.

The remembrance committee decided to organize political and cultural events including seminar and film show in praise of Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits on the sixth anniversary of his demise.
