S. Korean Party Urges Withdrawal of GIs

| Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The People's Democratic Party of south Korea reportedly held a rally and a demo in Seoul on Monday, calling for the liquidation of evils, social drastic reform, conclusion of a peace pact between the DPRK and the U.S. and withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea. Speakers at the rally demanded that Lee Myung Bak be immediately detained and the "Liberal Korea Party" blocking the liquidation of evils be dismantled. They stressed the need to drive the GIs out of south Korea by efforts of popular masses and replace the Armistice Agreement with a peace pact and build a new society in which the Korean nation lives by its concerted efforts. A statement was read out at the rally. At the end of the rally, its participants marched as far as the building of the "government". |
