The editorial charged that Abe is attempting to revive militarism while supporting Trump's moves for a war of aggression on the DPRK.

He seeks to revise Article 9 of Japan's constitution under the pretext of "nuclear and missile threat from the north" in a bid to justify Japan's arms buildup for aggression, it said, adding:

A war on the Korean peninsula will bring disaster to Japanese and all other peoples in the world as it will be a lethal nuclear war incomparable with the Second World War.

Peace in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world lies in rejecting Japan's attempt at militarist revival and war maniac Trump, the imperialistic U.S. which eggs Japan on to it.
