It was attended by officials, scientists, technicians, teachers, researchers and postgraduates from Kim Il Sung University, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, the State Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Agricultural Science and other units.

The presentation was divided into panels of bioengineering, biology, botany, zoology and microbiology. It heard more than 250 papers.

The participants introduced the experience gained in the work to turn out cutting-edge bionic products and put into practice the achievements of modern biology in the fields of agriculture, medical science and food industry.

Also introduced were achievements made in scientific researches to routinely check species of animals and plants and their living conditions, protect species of biology including rare animals and plants, and ensure diversity of biology.
