Talks between Foreign Ministers of DPRK, Cuba Held
Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho who is leading the government delegation on an official visit to Cuba and Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla at the building of the Cuban Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.

Present there from the DPRK side were members of the delegation and the DPRK ambassador to Cuba and from the Cuban side were officials concerned of the Foreign Ministry.

At the talks the two foreign ministers expressed the steadfast will to further consolidate the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries provided by the preceding leaders and being successfully developed by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and Comrade Raul Castro Ruz.

Ri Yong Ho referred to the acute situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula owing to the imperialists' military moves and stressed that the DPRK would bolster up its defense capability to cope with the U.S. hostile policy and blackmail.

Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla mentioned the people's struggle for sovereignty, independence and right to self-determination and the right to establishment of one's own style political, economic, social and cultural system and non-interference.

Both sides strongly rejected the arbitrary practice of the U.S. which re-designated the DPRK as a "sponsor of terrorism" as a wanton violation of international law.

On the same day Ri Yong Ho met and had a talk with persons concerned of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Cuban Foreign Ministry and solidarity organization.
