Russian internet homepage Patrioti Moskva in an article titled "Position of the DPRK as a nuclear power" wrote that the U.S. which was boasting of its advantages in nuclear weapons is reeling after the emergence of a new nuclear power in the world, adding:

The DPRK is a small country in its territory and population.

Such a country has so far been exposed to harsh nuclear threats from the U.S.

The world's first and biggest nuclear weapons state U.S. has deployed huge nuclear hardware and nuclear weapons in south Korea and staged all sorts of nuclear war exercises including Team Spirit and Ulji Focus Lens every year and even officially declared the DPRK as a target of a preemptive nuclear attack.

This compelled the DPRK to opt for the path of nuclear possession and the path of bolstering nuclear deterrence for self-defense.

The DPRK, which had access to nuclear weapons to terminate the U.S. nuclear threat, carried out even H-bomb test to defend the sovereignty of the country and the right to existence of the nation and guarantee the peace on the Korean peninsula and the security of the region, thus ranking itself with dignity among the world's six nuclear powers.

It would be realistic and wise for the U.S. to accept the assertion of Bandow, senior fellow at the Cato Institute in the U.S. and former special assistant to President Ronald Reagan, that the option for the U.S. has to be holding dialogue with the DPRK and withdrawing the U.S. forces from Northeast Asia.

The British newspaper Daily Star and the U.S. newspaper The Hill and other media also reported that U.S. Strategic Command Head John Hyten officially said that he would not obey Trump's order for a nuclear attack on north Korea and that lots of netizens of the U.S. supported him.

The French AFP commented that the clarification of their possible denial of the president's order for nuclear attack in breach of law by U.S. Strategic Command Head John Hyten in the wake of the former U.S. Strategic Command head has something in common with the moves of Congress to restrain the U.S. president's right to use nuclear weapons.

As was commented by the international community, the more zealously the U.S. resorts to the anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK, the bitterer shame and destruction the "world's only superpower" will face.
