The letter said that the 3rd conference guided by the Supreme Leader was of significance in demonstrating the faith and will of the participants to defend and add luster to the idea and exploits of the peerlessly great men and usher in a fresh heyday of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist social sciences under his leadership.

Through the conference, the Korean social scientists in Japan came to more deeply grasp the idea and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who pioneered the Juche-based social sciences and set a model of social sciences in the era of independence, said the letter, adding:

During the stay, we visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, the Ryuwon Footwear Factory and other units associated with the leadership exploits of the peerlessly great men and, in the course, witnessed the indomitable struggle of the people in the homeland who turned out in a drive to implement the decision made at the 2nd plenary meeting of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. And we came to cherish deep in our mind the faith that the victory of the homeland advancing on the strength of self-reliance and self-development is science and nothing can check such progress.

We will actively explain the invincibility of the best socialist system in our country in a scientific and theoretic way and conduct a fierce theoretical activities to lay bare the reactionary nature of imperialism and the inevitability of its ruin, with the unshakable faith that the overseas social scientists have the embrace of the Supreme Leader though science knows no frontiers.
