Korea's Socialist Medical Care Introduced in India, DR Congo
Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The Indian newspaper Asia Caber Daily and the website of DR Congo carried articles introducing the advantageous socialist medical care of the DPRK.

The Indian newspaper on Nov. 15 said in an article titled "The universal, free medical care in the DPRK":

President Kim Il Sung saw to it that a decision of the Cabinet on starting the universal, free medical care throughout the northern half of Korea was made public in November 1952 during the Fatherland Liberation War.

The DPRK has enforced the perfect and universal, free medical care under which the state is responsible for the health of people and takes care of them.

The people are benefited from the free medical care all over the country regardless of whether they live in cities or rural areas.

All services such as prevention and treatment of diseases are free of charge.

The National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo on Nov. 13 posted on its website an article titled "DPRK - the country of free medical care" saying that the long-cherished desire of humankind for creating and enjoying a happy life in good health has come true in the DPRK. The article went:

Perfect and universal, free medical care is the people-oriented policy of public health enforced in the DPRK.

The good material and technical conditions for substantially ensuring the free medical care have been provided in the DPRK.

Okryu Children's Hospital, Breast Tumor Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, Ryugyong Dental Hospital, Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital and other medical service bases have been built all over the country and hospitals and clinics can be seen not only at factories and enterprises but also in mountainous villages and on remote islands,.

Children and mothers with babies receive special state benefits.
