The Congolese committee for remembering leader Kim Jong Il said this in a special bulletin released on Nov. 15 with the approach of the sixth anniversary of his demise.

The bulletin noted:

Leader Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea and Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, founder of socialist Korea, and thus made the Korean people steadily advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism.

It was the greatest exploit performed by Kim Jong Il that he firmly defended Korean-style socialism.

The bulletin said that he put the DPRK on the position of the political, ideological and military power, provided a firm foundation for building an economic power and devoted himself to the country and people till the last moments of his life.

The Korean people's cause of building a powerful socialist nation is the sacred cause of realizing his lifetime plan and desire, it added.
