Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The chairman said that they recall with deep emotion the noble revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il, a prominent thinker-theoretician and great master in leadership, ahead of the 6th anniversary of his demise.

The great HE Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung into the guiding idea in the era of independence and cemented as firm as rock the single-mined unity of the leader, the party and the masses and turned the Workers' Party of Korea into an invincible revolutionary party and the Korean People's Army into the matchless powerful army, he said, adding:

We will widely introduce the undying feats of the great leader HE Kim Jong Il among the people of Guinea on the sixth anniversary of his demise.

The program of events to be held ahead of Dec. 17 was discussed at the inaugural ceremony.
