Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korean Authorities for Trying to Revive Conservative Policy
Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- Days ago, when he set out on a trip to Southeast Asian countries, the chief executive of south Korea gave his close associates the order to "continuously push ahead with the globalization of new village movement", a policy of the former regime.

This is a compromise with conservatism and submission to it and intolerable mockery of the mindset of the candlelight demonstrators, Rodong Sinmun Friday says in a commentary.

Noting that the south Korean puppet ruling quarters' purpose of resorting to the "globalization of the new village movement" is to draw the conservative circle smelling of the "scent of Park Chung Hee" to creating the ruling foundation, the commentary goes on:

What should not be overlooked is that the south Korean authorities are going to tempt developing countries in Asia and Africa under the signboard of "globalization of the new village movement" and boost the international cooperation to pressurize the DPRK.

Their attempt to draw other countries with the outdated policy on the rubbish heap of history as bait for cooperation in pressurizing the DPRK is an unpardonable crime.

The south Korean people will not remain an onlooker to the reckless behavior of the authorities styling themselves as "a candlelight regime" who are trying to revive such typical evils of conservatism as "globalization of new village movement", instead of combating them.
