Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- Personages of India and Nigeria issued statements on Nov. 29 in congratulation of the DPRK's successful test-fire of ICBM Hwasong-15. Atul Kumar Anjan, secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, and Suneet Chopra, joint secretary of the All India Agricultural Workers' Union, said in their joint statement that they extended warm congratulations to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people who successfully conducted a test-fire of ICBM Hwasong-15. It went on: We fully support the statement of the DPRK government in which it proclaimed the accomplishment of the historic and great cause of completing the state nuclear force and the cause of building a rocket power through its recent test-fire and solemnly clarified once again that the development of its strategic weapons would not pose any threat to any country and region as long as its interests are not infringed upon. Availing ourselves of this opportunity, we strongly condemn the persistent nuclear war threat by the U.S. destroying peace and stability of the Korean peninsula. We also assert that the UN should provide the settlement for putting an end to the situation in which the Korean peninsula is technically at war and make the U.S. not infringe sovereign states' right to independence any longer. Damian Ogbonna, national chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria who doubles as chairman of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, said in a statement that the successful test-fire of the new-type ICBM Hwasong-15 clearly proved once again that nobody could block the road ahead of the Korean people who are dynamically advancing along the road of independence, Songun and socialism, united close around HE Kim Jong Un. |
