The statement said the declaration of the success in the test-fire of ICBM Hwasong-15 on Nov. 29, 2017 was the declaration of the victory of the great idea of independence to be specially recorded in the history of the Korean nation spanning 5,000 years which instills boundless national pride into all Koreans living abroad.

Noting the Korean nation has become to take the path of self-development, not reading others' face, free from the nuclear blackmails and threat of nuclear preemptive attack posed by the U.S. for more than seven decades, the statement stressed:

Peace and stability can be achieved on the Korean peninsula when the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration are implemented.

There is nothing to be afraid of if all Koreans pool their independent efforts and wisdom. The great success in the test-fire of the ICBM Hwansong-15 is, indeed, a glory and hurrah of the independent nation.
