The meetings were attended by officials of local party and power organs, working people's organizations, factories, enterprises, farms and universities, men and officers of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and inhabitants from all walks of life including youths and students.

A statement of the DPRK government was read out at the meetings to be followed by speeches.

Speakers said that the whole country is filled with great joy and emotion after hearing the news of the successful test-fire of the new-type ICBM Hwasong-15.

They referred to the fact that the historic "great November event" shattered the heinous sanctions and pressure of the U.S. and other hostile forces and enabled the DPRK to put further spurs to the building of an independent economic power and the improvement of the people's living standard while benefiting from the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts and the young generations to enjoy the eternal happiness under the socialist system.

They said that nobody could infringe upon the Korean people's sovereignty and rights to existence and development at random and everybody was compelled to recognize the strategic position of the DPRK defending the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity and guaranteeing the regional and world peace.

They called for making a dynamic struggle to build the best country, a paradise for the people envied by the world, united closer around respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
