Amalia Alexandr, international secretary of the Angolan Women's Organization, was elected chairwoman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to hold political and cultural events to praise the exploits of Kim Jong Il, the peerlessly great man, who performed for the prosperity and independent reunification of the country and global independence on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of his demise.
