Indian Personages Censure U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- Personages of various political parties and organizations of India bitterly denounced the U.S. for putting the DPRK back on the list of "state sponsors of terrorism" on Nov. 21.

Atul Kumar Anjan, secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India, the general secretary of the Indian National Congress Party, Harising Khang, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), G. Debarajan, secretary of the Central Committee of the All-India Forward Bloc, Vijay Jolly, senior leader of the Indian People's Party, and Suneet Chopra, secretary general of the All-India Indo-Korean Friendship Association, noted in a joint statement:

We strongly reject everything fabricated by the U.S. in a bid to pressurize the DPRK.

The DPRK with solid national defence capabilities for self-defence is a genuine people's country.

The Korean people have the history of defeating the U.S. for the first time in the world.

We urge the U.S. to withdraw its nuclear weapons and troops from the Korean peninsula and respect the unanimous desire of all Koreans for settling the reunification issue by their own efforts.

We extend firm solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for peace and progress.
