S. Korean Regime's "New Northern Policy" Is Bound to Fail: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet regime is nowadays crying out for "new northern policy", in the wake of what they called "new southern policy". The puppet authorities are loudmouthed about "economic cooperation" and "balanced diplomacy" with China, Russia and other Eurasian nations pursuant to the "policy". They claim that if the "policy" is carried into practice, it would be "greatly helpful to the economic revitalization and security". In this regard, Rodong Sinmun on Thursday comments that such policy is motivated by the scheme to approach Eurasian nations including the neighboring countries under the plea of "economic cooperation" and woo those countries into the international cooperation in sanctions and pressure on the DPRK and thus attain the aims for "nuclear dismantlement". The puppet regime seeks to profit through the double-dealing with the U.S. and other nations under this "policy", but it is an absurd and infeasible calculation, the news analyst says, and goes on: Their calculation is to rely on the U.S. in security aspect and depend on the neighboring countries, its rivals, for the economy. But such attempt can not be allowed by their American master because it wants south Korea to depend on it only, in the aspects of security and economy. It would be nonsensical for the puppet lackeys faithful to the U.S. to deal with the neighboring countries, even courting its displeasure. The "new northern policy" is bound to go bankrupt, being rejected at home and abroad as it is a stop-gap measure by those frightened at the might of the DPRK which is making triumphant advance while foiling the vicious obstructive moves of the imperialist aggressor forces. |
