Technology for Producing Vinyl Chloride Sole Developed

Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- The Ryuwon Footwear Factory in the DPRK recently developed a technology for producing vinyl chloride sole in cooperation with a research group of Kim Chaek University of Technology, true to the noble intention of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to supply more quality and smart shoes to the people.

The research groups of the factory and university confirmed that carbonic acid gas penetrates well into vinyl chloride in the air and its penetration power grows stronger when it is transmuted into the supercritical state. And, on this basis, they established the technology for producing vinyl chloride sole, the first of its kind in the DPRK.

After the introduction of this technology, a pair of shoes comes to weigh 30 percent lighter than before and summer sports shoes for women 80g in particular.
