Immediate Release of Prisoners of Conscience Urged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Voice of People on Thursday carried an editorial "Prisoners of conscience should be released at once". The editorial charged that the south Korean chief executive said on Dec. 6 he was not ready to meet the demand of religionists for special amnesty. It urged the "president" to meet the demand of the international community and religionists and civic and public organizations of south Korea for release of prisoners of conscience. |
