S. Korean Students Urge Abrogation of "Security Law"

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The Korean Nation for Peace and Independence, an organization of students in Kwangju and South Jolla Province of south Korea, reportedly issued a statement on Dec. 6 in demand of abrogation of the "Security Law." Noting that the SL is still suppressing the people who call for independence, it accused the Security Investigation Group of searching the house of Kim Pyong Gil, representative of the internet newspaper Jaju Sibo, on the charge of violating the SL and questioning him. If the present chief executive remembers what the candlelight demonstrators demanded, he should abrogate the SL, the evil law of the old age which has trampled down the people's demand for combating evils. |
