They seek to secure a legal justification for the blockade by modifying the phrases of the "sanctions resolution" cooked up at the UN, while pressurizing its major allies to collect information about the movements of DPRK-flagged ships by mobilizing sea-patrol planes.

Commenting on the facts, Minju Joson Thursday says:

The scenario of the U.S. administration is just a reckless one of those ignorant of what the sea blockade means and what consequences it will cause.

Sea blockade is just a wanton violation of the sovereignty and vital rights of the DPRK and maximum pressure on it.

It is as clear as noonday that the situation on the Korean peninsula will plunge into an uncontrollable catastrophe once sea blockade is imposed on the DPRK.

The situation clearly proves that the U.S. is just entirely accountable for worsening the situation on the Korean peninsula and wrecking global peace and security, and that the Trump cult's sanctions racket to stifle the DPRK is just a thrice-cursed crime which deserves worldwide criticism.

If the Trump group shows any slightest sign of putting the blockade project into practice, the invincible revolutionary forces of the DPRK which show no mercy for the aggressors will take immediate and merciless countermeasure for self-defence.

Frankly speaking, the group has put the U.S. mainland as a whole closer in sight of the DPRK's nuclear retaliatory strike, through its scheme for sea blockade.
