Resignation of Corrupt Officials Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The Joint Council of Civic and Public Organizations in North Chungchong Province and the Chungbuk branch of the KBS headquarters of the Media Trade Union of south Korea reportedly held a press conference on Dec. 11 to urge the immediate resignation of the managing director of the KBS council and the president of the KBS.

The speakers said that the public broadcasting can't be normalized with the KBS council involving the criminals who destroyed the public broadcasting left intact.

The trade union of the KBS has been on a general strike for more than 100 days since last September, in demand of the resignation of the managing director and directors of the council and the president of the KBS.
