Scientific Research Activities Brisk at Universities
Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- Universities in the DPRK have settled many sci-tech problems to be conducive to putting the national economy on a Juche and modern basis and normalizing the production.

Research groups of Kim Il Sung University developed and introduced into the Pyongyang Bag Factory a computer-aided pattern recognizer to put the cutting process on an IT basis and solved hundreds sci-tech problems arising in modernizing different factories like the Ryugyong Kimchi Factory, Ryuwon Footwear Factory and Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory.

Research groups of Kim Chaek University of Technology also solved many sci-tech problems arising in establishing the integrated production system at factories honored with the field guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and putting their production processes on an automated and unmanned basis, thus making contributions to putting the national economy on a Juche and modern basis.

Educators and researchers of Pyongyang University of Architecture completed thousands of architectural blueprints for over 200 projects.

Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering contributed a large share to the designing and automation of production processes at the Sungri Motor Complex, Kumsong Tractor Factory and other main industrial establishments.

Such achievements were also made by many other universities including Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering, Phyongbuk University and Hwangbuk University.
