Events Held Abroad to Commemorate Demise Anniversary of Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Events took place in various countries to commemorate the 6th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

There were a Korean book, photo, stamp and handicraft exhibition, a remembrance concert and a film show in Russia, round-table talks in Indonesia and Ethiopia and a lecture meeting in Mexico between Nov. 26 and Dec. 5.

On display at the venues of the events were photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also there were their works and books and photos introducing the true picture of socialist Korea.

Oleg Revedev, deputy to the State Duma of Russia, said that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into an invincible power which no formidable enemy can dare to provoke, adding that the reality proves that only the powerful military force can ensure safety and peace of a country.

V. P. Isakov, first secretary of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation, stressed that Kim Jong Il is always alive in the hearts of the Korean and Russian peoples for his gigantic contributions to the prosperity of Korea and development of the Russia-DPRK relations.

Nurdin Purnomo, chairman of the National Leading Council of the Diversity Party of Indonesia, said that the revolutionary career of HE Kim Jong Il, who had devoted his all to the country's prosperity and the people's happiness, would shine long with the century.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, praised Kim Jong Il's immortal Songun revolutionary leadership exploits.
