Kim Jong Il's Revolutionary Feats Will Be Glorified: DPRK Papers

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- DPRK's leading newspapers Sunday devote editorials to the sixth anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that his august name as the sun has been the symbol of mightiness and dignity of Juche Korea and the history of his revolutionary activities a textbook of life and struggle for the Korean people and his behests and exploits have served as the driving force for achieving epoch-making miracles in defending socialism and building a thriving country. It goes on: With firm confidence in the victory of the socialist cause of Juche pioneered in Mt Paektu, he had wisely guided the revolution and construction under the ever-changing whirlpool of the 20th and 21st centuries with his outstanding idea and rare leadership. He indicated the path of achieving the victory of socialism with his brilliant wisdom that no other great man can follow in the world. His ideas and theories serve as guidelines giving the confidence in victory and encouragement to the world's revolutionary peoples struggling for socialism. The powerful political and military muscle built and cemented by him throughout his whole life is the best national power and the strongest weapon of socialist Korea. He unfolded a grand blueprint for prosperity of the country for the first time in its history and wisely led the struggle to put it into practice. His feats will be immortal as he provided an eternal foundation for building the best power which is always thriving with powerful national strength and where the people enjoy a happy life to the full with no more to desire in the world. Minju Joson in an editorial says that the Korean people will convey through generations the feats of Kim Jong Il who guaranteed the eternal future of socialist Korea. |
