Among them were Kim Yong Nam, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly; Pak Pong Ju, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and premier of the Cabinet; and other senior state and army officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, members of the party central leadership organ here and officials of armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions

Seen standing before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il were a floral basket in the name of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

Placed at the statues was a floral basket in the joint name of the SPA Presidium of the DPRK, the Cabinet of the DPRK and the KPA.

Senior state and army officials paid homage to the statues.

The visitors made deep bows to Kim Jong Il in the hall of immortality where he lies in state.

That day servicepersons and civilians from all walks of life also visited the palace to pay homage to Kim Jong Il.
