Kim Jong Suk's Career Lauded Abroad
Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations of Colombia and Brazil posted special write-ups interwoven with photos and paintings of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk on their websites in the run-up to her 100th birth anniversary.

The Communist Party of Colombia on Dec. 1 posted an article saying that Kim Jong Suk, a prominent woman revolutionary produced by the Korean nation, is a woman commander who took part in the protracted armed struggle against the Japanese imperialists. The article elaborated on her rare military strategy, incredible marksmanship, matchless pluck and warm humanity.

The Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics on Nov. 25 posted detailed data to show that Kim Jong Suk protected the safety of President Kim Il Sung at the risk of her life during the anti-Japanese war. It said:

Kim Jong Suk had worked as a bodyguard of the President till the last moments of her life.

Her stance as a bodyguard remained unchanged in the periods of the anti-Japanese war and the building of a new country after the country's liberation.

This year the Korean people greet the centenary of her birth.

Kim Jong Suk's noble career as the anti-Japanese war heroine and woman guerrilla commander will be kept in the minds of the Korean people and the world progressives forever.
