Kim Jong Il Remembered at DPRK Missions Abroad
Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows were held at the DPRK missions in Cambodia, Iran, Myanmar, India, China, Romania, Angola and Equatorial Guinea on Dec. 9-16 to commemorate the 6th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

There were also works of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un and books and photos showing the achievements made by the Korean army and people in the building of a powerful socialist nation.

"My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" and other Korean films were shown.

Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister for Royal Palace and chairman of the Cambodian Committee for Remembering the Great Generalissimo HE Kim Jong Il, said that Kim Jong Il led the party, the state and the people with the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung as guidelines.

He made distinguished contribution to boosting the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and his feats will shine forever, the deputy prime minister added.

A vice-general secretary of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran praised Kim Jong Il's feats for the country and the people, the times and history.

Tin Tun, chairman of the Myanmar Committee for Remembering the Great HE Kim Jong Il, stressed that Kim Jong Il's lifelong exploits will remain long as priceless heritages guaranteeing the accomplishment of the DPRK's cause of building a powerful socialist state and the cause of global independence.

Families of Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle spoke of the love and care shown by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
