Hyesan, December 23 (KCNA) -- The Sinpha Revolutionary Site draws many people in the run-up to the centenary of birth of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk. More than five millions of servicepersons, working people of various circles, school youth and children have visited the site over past four decades since the statue of Kim Jong Suk was erected there on Oct. 10, Juche 63 (1974). In December this year alone, it is visited by at least thousands of people every day. The site is a place where Kim Jong Suk waged an energetic struggle to expand organizations of the party and the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland at home, conducting her activities with Taoquanli as the base in the spring of 1937. |
