Dancing Party of Youths Marks DPRK Holidays

| Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Dancing parties of youth and students took place in various parts of the country Sunday to mark the 26th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the centenary of birth of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk. In the capital city of Pyongyang, they began their dancing parties in the plazas of the Monument to Party Founding, and the Arch of Triumph and other parts of the city amid the playing of the song "Fortune of Korea". They danced to the tune of such songs as "Our General Is the Best" and "Unforgettable Echoes over Lagoon Samil", expressing the highest respects and eternal glory to Kim Jong Il and deep reverence for Kim Jong Suk. Similar events were held in provincial seats, cities and counties. |
