Present there were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, senior party, state and army officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of party and armed forces organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, men and officers of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, teachers and students of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, officials and labor innovators of institutions and industrial establishments in the city.

Yang Hyong Sop, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and vice-president of the Presidium of the SPA, made a report at the meeting.

Kim Jong Suk's life was the noblest one of a great revolutionary who dedicated her all to the prosperity and rosy future of the country and the nation, the reporter said, adding:

The human history recorded a large number of famous women revolutionaries but has not known such a prominent woman revolutionary and genuine patriot as Kim Jong Suk who performed so great and precious exploits.

Her distinguished feat is that she set a noble example and tradition of loyalty to the leader that the Korean revolutionaries should acquire and apply generation after generation.

Her immortal exploits for the country and the revolution can be found in the fact that she made great contributions to liberating the country with arms, true to the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, and laying a solid military foundation for building a prosperous country.

In the days when an untrodden path of building a country was paved, she had worked heart and soul to arouse all the people to building of a new country true to Kim Il Sung's idea and intention.

Her greatest exploit is that she brought up leader Kim Jong Il as the rising sun and thus gave the people the highest honor and happiness of being blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation.

The reporter stressed that the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Suk who dedicated her all to the prosperity of the country and happiness of its people would remain forever along with the cause of building a powerful socialist nation of Juche.
