The Syrian Arab News Agency reported about the ideo-theoretical feats of Kim Jong Il and his Songun revolutionary exploits, carrying his photo.

The Syria TV Channel aired the achievements made by the Korean army and people in the building of a powerful socialist nation and the standoff with the U.S. as well as photos showing the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il.

The Syrian Radio Broadcasting Service aired a special report about the precious revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il.

The Syrian paper Al Baath said the whole life of Kim Jong Il was that of towering flame and 2011, the last year of his life, was a year in which he had devotedly worked for the prosperity of the country and happiness of the people with his superhuman energy.

The newspaper Al Thawrah said that Kim Jong Il had always given priority to the future of the country in adopting any line and policy and dealing with any problem during the whole period of his guidance over the country and the people.

Another paper Tishrin said the great life of Kim Jong Il was associated with his mission of taking responsibility for the destiny of the people, sense of obligation for providing the people with happiness and sincerest and warmest love for the people.
