Osandok Prize Sports Contest Closes

| Pyongyang, December 28 (KCNA) -- The Osandok Prize Sports Contest, which was opened to mark the 100th birth anniversary of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk, closed with due ceremony at the Ice Rink on Thursday. Attending the ceremony were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, and officials concerned. The Taesongsan Sports Team came top in the team standings. At the end of the ceremony there was a demonstration of figure skaters who proved successful in the contest. |
