U.S. Attempt for Invading DPRK Accused by S. Koreans

| Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- More than 5,000 people from all walks of life in south Korea, including members of the "Reunification Righteous Volunteers Ushering in Fresh Centenary", reportedly held the "2017 meeting for peace on the Korean Peninsula" at the plaza of Kwanghwamun in Seoul on December 23. The participants in a "peace declaration" denounced the U.S. for mobilizing the latest weapons while crying out for preemptive attack on the north. Standing against any military action, they called for an end to the division of the Korean Peninsula and establishment of a durable peace-keeping mechanism. |
