Greetings to President of Sudan

Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Sunday sent a message of greeting to Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, president of Sudan, on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of its independence.

Expressing belief that the long-standing friendly relations between the two countries would grow strong in the mutual interests, the message wished the president and the government of Sudan success in their work for safeguarding the sovereignty of the country and achieving its peace, stability and prosperity.
