Pyongyang Ice Sculpture Festival-2018 Opens
Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Ice Sculpture Festival-2018 opened at Kim Il Sung Square on Sunday on the occasion of the New Year.

On display at the festival venue are scores of ice sculptures on various themes presented by the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport, the Ministry of Railways, the Art Studio of the Korean People's Army, Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce and other units.

Those ice sculptures depicting Mt Paektu and the Arch of Triumph impressively show the army and people's deep yearning and reverence for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who devoted all their life to the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

There are also sculptures portraying Ryomyong Street and ICBMs soaring into space and showing the revolutionary faith of the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class.
