Among them were Kim Yong Nam, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly; Pak Pong Ju, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and premier of the Cabinet; and other senior state and army officials, the chairperson of a friendly party and officials of party and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions.

Laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il was a floral basket in the name of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also placed were a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and a floral basket in the joint name of the SPA Presidium and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

Senior state and army officials paid high tribute to the statues.

They offered New Year greetings in humble reverence to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the halls of immortality where they lie in state.

They went round the rooms where orders the great leaders received are on display and halls that house cars, an electric car, boat and train coaches used by them during their field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of their lives.

That day servicepersons and working people from all walks of life visited the palace to pay homage to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
