On display at its venue was an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung standing together with leader Kim Jong Il and photos showing their revolutionary career and exploits.

There were also books and photos introducing the shining achievements made by the Korean people in building a powerful socialist country under the guidance of Kim Jong Un.

Present at the meeting were personages and members of progressive political parties, Juche Idea study organizations and associations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in Nordic countries, including the Communist Party in Sweden, the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association and the Finland-Korea Society, and the ambassador and officials of the DPRK embassy in Sweden.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the art work depicting the great leaders of the DPRK and paid tribute to them.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said:

The DPRK is standing firm against the unprecedented pressure and sanctions of the U.S. imperialists by increasing its political and military might in every way.

The struggle of the Korean people to build a powerful socialist country under the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un are greatly encouraging the world progressive people.

The friends of the DPRK are glad to see the successes being registered by the Korean people, and extend full support and solidarity to them.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
